🥝🔥 Golden Kiwi Hot Sauce Glazed Chicken (15-minute skillet)

A bright, fruity, spicy glaze that caramelises beautifully.



Ingredients (serves 2–3)


  • 2 large chicken breasts or 4 thighs

  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp Flaming Imp Golden Kiwi Hot Sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: squeeze of lime


Method


  1. Season & sear

    Heat oil in a pan. Salt the chicken and sear 3–4 mins each side until golden.


  2. Make the glaze

    In a bowl, mix: hot sauce + honey + soy + ginger + garlic.


  3. Glaze & reduce

    Pour over the chicken. Simmer 3–5 mins until thick, glossy, and sticky. Add a splash of water if it thickens too fast.


  4. Finish

    Squeeze over a little lime. Serve with rice, noodles, or a crunchy slaw.
