Crispy, sticky, fiery wings tossed in your signature Original fermented hot sauce.
Ingredients:
1kg chicken wings
1 tbsp baking powder (not baking soda)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
For the glaze:
3 tbsp Flaming Imp Original Hot Sauce
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
Prep the wings: Pat wings dry. Toss with baking powder, salt, and oil. This helps crisp them up.
Bake: Preheat oven to 220°C (fan 200°C). Place wings on a wire rack over a tray. Bake for 45ā50 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Make the glaze: In a saucepan, melt butter, then stir in hot sauce, honey, and vinegar. Simmer for 2 minutes until glossy.
Toss & serve:
Coat wings in the sauce while hot. Serve immediately with celery sticks and a cooling dip (e.g., sour cream or blue cheese).
