Ingredients:

  • 1kg chicken wings

  • 1 tbsp baking powder (not baking soda)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp oil

For the glaze:

  • 3 tbsp Flaming Imp Original Hot Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Prep the wings: Pat wings dry. Toss with baking powder, salt, and oil. This helps crisp them up.

  2. Bake: Preheat oven to 220°C (fan 200°C). Place wings on a wire rack over a tray. Bake for 45–50 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

  3. Make the glaze: In a saucepan, melt butter, then stir in hot sauce, honey, and vinegar. Simmer for 2 minutes until glossy.

  4. Toss & serve:

  5. Coat wings in the sauce while hot. Serve immediately with celery sticks and a cooling dip (e.g., sour cream or blue cheese).
