Looking for a weeknight dinner that’s packed with flavour, ridiculously satisfying, and ready in under 30 minutes? Meet your new go-to: Spicy Roasted Veggie Tacos, elevated with a generous kick of The Flaming Imp Original Hot Sauce. Tangy, fermented, and full of fiery depth, our original blend turns everyday ingredients into something unforgettable.
🌶 What You’ll Need:
For the Roasted Veggies:
1 red onion, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
1 courgette, sliced into half-moons
1 tin chickpeas, drained
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper
To Serve:
6 soft corn or flour tortillas
1 ripe avocado, sliced
Handful of fresh coriander
Lime wedges
Dollop of sour cream or coconut yoghurt (optional)
The Flaming Imp Original Hot Sauce – to taste (but we say: go bold!)
🔥 Method:
1. Roast the Veggies: Preheat your oven to 200°C (fan). Toss the onion, pepper, courgette, and chickpeas in olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread them out on a tray and roast for 20–25 minutes until golden and starting to crisp.
2. Warm the Tortillas: Wrap tortillas in foil and pop them in the oven for the last 5 minutes of roasting. Alternatively, warm them in a hot dry pan for 30 seconds per side.
3. Assemble the Tacos: Pile the roasted veg into each tortilla. Top with avocado, fresh coriander, and a big squeeze of lime. Add a drizzle (or more) of The Flaming Imp Original Hot Sauce.
4. Finish with a Kick: Add a spoonful of sour cream or coconut yoghurt if you like it creamy, then hit it with one final splash of sauce for good measure.
